How to Delete or Deactivate Your Account

We understand that there may be times when you want to stop using your account, either temporarily or permanently. Below you’ll find clear instructions for both deleting and deactivating your account.

Option 1: Delete Your Account (Permanent)

Deleting your account permanently removes your access to the platform.

How to request deletion

  1. Go to the Support tab in your dashboard.

  2. From the dropdown menu, select “I want to remove my account.”

  3. Choose “Delete My Account.”

You will then be asked to:

  • Enter your TimeBucks password

    • If you signed up with Google, you must first create a TimeBucks password in Settings

  • Provide a brief reason for deletion

  • Complete the robot verification

  • Click Delete My Account

Email confirmation

A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address.
You must click the link in that email to complete the deletion request.

Once confirmed, the deletion process may take 2–3 business days.

Option 2: Deactivate Your Account (Temporary)

If you just want to take a break, deactivation is the better option.

Deactivation means:

  • Your account will not appear on the site

  • You will not receive emails

  • You can reactivate it at any time

How to deactivate

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page

  3. Click Deactivate Account

Important Notes

  • If your account is currently blocked or restricted, deletion or deactivation will not remove those restrictions. The system will continue to enforce them.

  • After a deletion request is confirmed, the account cannot be restored.

  • For security and fraud prevention, we retain non-personal device data (such as device and network fingerprints).
This data does not contain names, addresses, or contact details and cannot be used to identify you as a person.

If you need help with the process, feel free to contact Support.
